Model D Optical Polarimeter

The Model D Polarimeter is a well established, high quality, low cost instrument.

The instrument accept sample tubes of lengths of up to 220 mm. For dark sample which absorb light, the Model D Polarimeter has provision for adjustment allowing more light to pass through the sample.

The instrument must be used in conjunction with a sodium light source.

Scales

Angular 0 to 360° sub-divided to 1°. Micrometer drum gives direct reading to 0.05° and by estimation 0.02°.
Sugar -30° to +130° sub-divided 1°. Micrometer drum gives reading to 0.1° and by estimation 0.05°.
